Positive action to get people working again

NOW we have passed the Government’s first 100 days in office, I thought I’d let your readers know what the coalition has done to reverse the rise in unemployment left by Labour particularly by support for smaller businesses.
First off, we’ve moved to stop tax rises on small and mediumsized businesses (SMEs).
The previous Government wanted to hit SMEs with a tax hike on both the small profits rate and National Insurance Contributions (NICs). Instead this Government will reduce the small profits rate to 20 per cent, instead of the last Government’s planned increase to 22 per cent, from April 2011 and reverse the planned increase in National Insurance Contributions.
Indeed the threshold for employers NIC will rise by Pounds 21, above indexation. This will increase the number of employees for whom employers pay no NICs by 650,000.
Finally, there will be a review of small business taxation, including IR35 regulations, to create a simpler, more predictable tax regime.
Red tape and over-regulation will also be peeled away to allow business to flourish.
The most obvious way this will be done is by introducing a system of regulation control whereby ministers must first show how they will reduce the existing burden of regulation before bringing forward new regulations.
Alongside this will be a review of all regulations the previous Government scheduled for introduction over the coming year. There will be help for new firms too. For the next three years, businesses in Yorkshire will not have to pay the first Pounds 5,000 of class 1 National Insurance contributions in the initial year they employ someone

The recent explosion of high-tech gadgets for the Home has spurred an increased interest in all forms of Home Surveillance. It has become easy and inexpensive to set up, all by oneself, a Camera System with monitor and recorder to protect the premises and discourage would be intruders or burglars.
One of the available options, as widely known, is to hide the camera into some everyday item in order to perform surveillance in a discreet way, without letting the observed persons know they are being spied upon.
Spying upon unaware people may be legal or illegal depending on the circumstances. In general it is illegal to commit a breach of privacy. It would be legal to check the behavior of nannies or caretakers in charge of babies or old people, because no privacy is involved.
Imaginative people may think that surveillance with a hidden camera could be applied usefully also against the strictest family. Although we know that one can disagree with us, we would like to stress that it is not a good idea.
It is not a situation to be scrutinized only from the legality point of view. Being it a proof of essential mistrust, it should not be tolerated in the family.

Choose carefully, as many MySpace users may be put off reading your profile if the page does not display well.
There are some great features that you can add to your page, including cursors, layouts, surveys, games and much more. You can even add music to your page, so that when someone visits your profile the music will play. You can literally spend hour after hour customizing your page!
MySpace is a great place to find friends with the same interests as yours, and you might choose to reflect this in your profile with pictures of your horse for example if you like horse riding or you with your basketball team if that’s what you like to do.
The site has also provided great promotion for many users, and has led to relative success for a number of musical artists. This is of course down to the large number of users that can be contacted.
One very important note to make is for young users to use caution when posting personal information and for parents to realize this.

Other people can bring tremendous happiness to our lives but we cannot rely on them alone for happiness. Clinging to people because we think our happiness depends on them can have a disastrous effect on any relationship.
Our happiness, ultimately, is our own responsibility and not someone else’s.

As a preventive measure you should take this medicine once a day. This can be done in any of the following ways; one tablet either in the morning or in the evening.
Medication schedule
But if you are taking this medicine in the mornings then you should continue to take this tablet only in the mornings, if in the evenings, then only in the evenings. Taking the tablet one day in the morning and the next day in the evening will reduce the effects of the tablet. Then it is not going to serve any purpose. So strictly stick to a schedule. A preferable schedule will be an evening dosage.

That?s the equivalent of more than fifteen thousand hours in front of the set (about a thousand hours a year) ? as compared with twelve thousand hours spent in a classroom. The end result? A total of twenty-seven thousand hours ? more than six years of their young lives ? without a whole heck of a lot of movement.
Why be concerned? The number-one reason is that too much television results in an unfit individual ? adult or child. In 1998 researchers at San Diego State University found that both parents? and children?s performance levels on a simple test of aerobic fitness (one-mile walk/run) decreased as their viewing increased. The fact is, children who watch several hours of television every day have lower fitness levels than those who watch fewer than two hours.
Worse still, as the hours spent watching TV increase, so does the likelihood of obesity among children and adolescents. Researchers are discovering that the percentage of body fat increases along with the number of hours spent in front of the tube ? and that obesity is lower among children who watch television for one hour or less a day.

Bad men exploit this tendency and fulfill their desires.
Women simply love unpredictability and spontaneity and bad men provide them. A bad man will relentlessly pursue a woman, woo her with old world charm and shower her with love and attention, only to withdraw it suddenly. The woman constantly keeps guessing the status of their relationship. She finds this situation exciting and challenging. The ?I love bad men? syndrome is in action as the woman tires hard to win back her bad man.
Bad men are rebellious and a fling with a bad man means that the woman is rebelling against her family and the entire world. Insurgence in any form enthralls a woman. She feels strong and sturdy.
Bad men are prime example of forbidden fruit and ?I love bad men? syndrome ensures that, as many women as possible taste it.

Once survivor came out and was a huge ratings hit, everyone started to jump on the bandwagon and produce shows about anything and everything. Their have been shows such as The Bachelor and For Love or Money that are dating shows. Their have been shows such as Big Brother in which people live together and compete for prizes.
A lot of reality shows have been broadcast but many of them bomb. By now this is a trend that most would think would have died down but it has only picked up lately with Skating with Celebrities and Dancing With the Stars being popular. With the way things are going there is only a certain amount of time for shows to broadcast and reality show will not get dropped in favor of them even though many of them fail, so who will be the loser. If more and more reality shows get picked up less sitcoms will get picked up.

Job hopping at the middle-level should be done but very judiciously. A good enough period for you then is anytime between 3-5 years.
“Take a leap, but only if there’s a safety net” is the professional advice that career professionals recommend to anyone looking for a productive career. What this means is while there may be opportunities worth taking risks for, a seriously career-minded person should undertake a strategic job-hop only after careful planning.
Here are pointers you need to keep in mind if you are considering yet another change:
1) Consider what is in it for you. When presented with an opportunity it is important for you to consider what the job offers you with regard to skill enhancement, growth opportunity, experience, changes in personal and professional life, job satisfaction apart from material aspects like salary hike, SOPs, insurance benefit etc. If the opportunity satisfies you on all the important criterion, take up the job.
